What's good world, we're back from the crypt with some more of that hood philosophy shit, and on this episode of the podcast, I'm continuing along my nostalgia trip by revisiting the foundation of hood philosophy as I continue to search for therapeutic means to deal with the death of my brother.
In this episode, I'm talking about my love for Nietzsche, but also how I break from him radically. I think it's dope the philosophy he gave us, and I find his commitment to it admirable, but I'm starting to question whether a full-fledged commitment to strength is really the answer.
Don't get me twisted, strength and the will to power will forever reign supreme, but I'm wondering if perhaps there is something to be said about the strength it takes to admit we are weary and setting down the weight momentarily so that we may recompose ourselves before continuing to carry the load.
That's certainly been the case for me lately, and even though I slept up and fell back into some addictive behaviors, I'm happy in that I know it aint about how many times we put the weight down, it's about how many times we can pick it up and keep it moving.
Stay woke fam...
