What's good world, we back from the crypt with some more of that hood philosophy shit, and on this episode, I'm talking Nahuatl philosophy, the importance of shadow work in helping us find a life of purpose, and the dangers of placating ideas that keep us from doing so.
The Western world wants us to believe that we aint nothing more than insignificant specs of dust, but I'm here to tell you that that couldn't be any further from the truth, and all of the aforementioned will help us understand why.
Stay woke fam, we all want to change the world we're living in for the better, and it always starts by changing ourselves for the better, first...

What's good world, we back from the crypt with some more of that hood philosophy shit, and on this episode of the podcast, I'm talking all Nietzsche baby.
I'm going in on the will to power and how it can be used to help us become stronger versions of ourselves that are capable of starring into the abyss without trembling in fear of what's inside.
Stay woke fam, the preachers of death are in the ready to rob us of the beauty of life at every turn...

What's good world, we back from the crypt, and on this episode, I'm continuing to lowride across the foundations of this hood philosophy shit.
I'm revisiting a lot of 'Heidegerrian' concepts, namely in terms about how the ability to shake ourselves out of our states of falleness and lead lives of meaning is ever present, with the added twist being that, unlike most German existentialists, I don't take an individualistic approach to this process.
I get their argument that the individual alone can do this cuz 'we live in a society and it's comprised of people who have settled for the status quo' and what not, but I'm starting to wonder if perhaps that's just more European colonizing and not a practical way to traverse our philosophical journeys, instead.
Don't get me twisted, I value the individual, and we always on the 'born alone die alone' tip cuz that's just a fact, but nowhere does that entail that we have to live life and go along the journey alone. I value community, and this podcast is ultimately centered on that - so if you reading this and listening to this episode, just know that I see you homie.
You aint alone, and neither am I - we in this shit together. Stay woke fam...

What's good world, we're back from the crypt with some more of that hood philosophy shit, and on this episode of the podcast, I'm continuing along my nostalgia trip by revisiting the foundation of hood philosophy as I continue to search for therapeutic means to deal with the death of my brother.
In this episode, I'm talking about my love for Nietzsche, but also how I break from him radically. I think it's dope the philosophy he gave us, and I find his commitment to it admirable, but I'm starting to question whether a full-fledged commitment to strength is really the answer.
Don't get me twisted, strength and the will to power will forever reign supreme, but I'm wondering if perhaps there is something to be said about the strength it takes to admit we are weary and setting down the weight momentarily so that we may recompose ourselves before continuing to carry the load.
That's certainly been the case for me lately, and even though I slept up and fell back into some addictive behaviors, I'm happy in that I know it aint about how many times we put the weight down, it's about how many times we can pick it up and keep it moving.

What's good world, we back from the crypt with some more of that hood philosophy shit, and on this episode of the podcast, I'm unearthing the origins of how hood philosophy came to be.
I'm talking coping with the death of a loved one, addiction, nihilistic despair, the role K12 and collegiate education play in furthering this role, and how real philosophy can help us recover our lives from this black hole so that we can enjoy a semblance of joy in the brief amount of time we're here on Tlalticpac - all issues that helped me develop hood philosophy, and then some.
Special shout out to all of y'all who are still rocking with this podcast despite the prolonged time between episodes, y'all mean more to me than I can ever express.

What's good world, we back from the crypt with some more of that gangsta-ass hood philosophy shit, and for the first episode of Spooky Season, I'm delving into the hidden world of the occult by way of the horror of philosophy.
MF's like to front like philosophy and the occult have nothing in common, but this couldn't be any further from the truth - beyond the well-established tradition of occult philosophy, it is my contention that philosophy as a whole is a practice in the occult as it is, by nature, concerned with making the hidden visible.
And there aint nothing more hidden than the question of why we die and where we go when our trip on this slippery earth of Tlalticpac comes to an end. So I figured, let's use this question as our stargate to open up further questions about the potential of an afterlife, a before life, and the possibility of aliens, demons, and all that other fun stuff that likes to go bump in the night traversing between the two to arrive in this special place we occupy here and now.

What's good world, we're back from the crypt with some more of that hood philosophy shit, and on this episode of the podcast, I'm talking death, grief, and what Nahuatl philosophy can teach us about coping with both.
It's been said by many that the study of philosophy is nothing more than preparation for our own demise, an understanding I further have on a deeper level given a recent loss of a loved one that informed this episode. As devastating as it's been, I take solace in knowing that just as day gives into night, night equally gives way to day, and that soon my loved one will return to this slippery earth of Tlalticpac as another manifestation of Teotl.

What's good world, we back from the crypt with some more hood philosophy shit, and on this episode of the podcast, I'm picking up on the Coyolxauhqui Consciousness of Gloria Anzaldua.
We delving deep into the importance of shadow work as a tool for spiritual revolution, the likes of which are necessary to manifest the changes we seek in this world.
This aint some fake-woke social justice platitude on Anzaldua's behalf, though - this is a steadfast challenge for us to reach through the deepest wounds of our being in order to help connect and re-member us to all people's on this planet, irrespective of their background.

What's good world, we're back from the crypt with some more of that hood philosophy shit, and on this episode of the podcast, I'm talking occultism, mass media manipulation, the harvesting of our sacred energy by our reptilian overlords, the role genetics and epigenetics play in shaping the way we interface with reality, and... shadow work?
Yeah dawg, all that and then some, namely how these lizard people over at Illuminati Headquarters TM are using mass media as a means of engaging in occultist practices that siphon our sacred energy to help fulfill their dark desires, and, in turn, the power we have to overcome this by reclaiming our power.
I introduce Gloria Anzaldua's concept of the Coyolxauhqui Consciousness to help explain how that midnight black shadow work is a necessary means of bringing about the 'spiritual revolution' that is necessary to re-create the better world we desire.
